House, now flat and strop. Late C16/early C17, remodelled in C18. Original timber
framing with colourwashed brick infill to rear; C18 rendered brick front; gabled
C20 tile roof; brick ridge stack. L-plan with rear right wing. 2 storeys;
2-window range. Segmental arch over plank entry door to left. Mid C19 shop front
with canted bay and C20 door and windows to left. First-floor horned sashes.
Fire insurance plaque; dentilled eaves. Rear 2-storey wing of colourwashed brick
with gabled C20 tile roof. Interior: quartered chamfered and stopped beams.
First floor not inspected but likely to be of interest. C18 rear wing of flint
rubble with brick dressings and gabled old tile roof.
