Cloth Mill, now disused. Late C18. Rubble Doulting stone with ashlar quoins and dressings and double-Roman clay tile gabled roof. Rectangular plan. 3 storeys and a basement to road level occupied in the main by mill stream races. 2 mill wheels now removed. 6-window front 3-light fixed casements with glazing bars, some now blocked, set in plain stone mullion frames with cambered heads. 3 stone steps to vertically boarded entrance door in plain stone surround with cambered head. Windows to rear elevation for the most part are 24-pane cast iron fixed casements. Interior heavy timber floors on cross beams with 'A'-frame roof trusses with ties and collars - some railed to accommodate machinery, now removed. At the time of survey the interior and roof were in a state of advanced disrepair. Built into a low stone wall at the North West corner of the building, a moulded stone 4-centred arch with blank infill panel.
