Gate piers and gate. 1850. Designer John Norton. Cast iron. Gate piers; octagonal piers, shallow moulded pyramid
caps, neck band, cavetto moulded plinth. Gate; standards of 5 bays with simple finials, horizontal bars reinforced
with curved crosspiece, central band of simple decoration. Identical in design to those of Williton Lodge (qv) and
Church Lodge (qv). Primarily listed for group value with Stowey Lodge (qv).
