Detached farmhouse. Possibly C16 origins, but modified. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings; thatched roof with
coped gables; one ashlar slab and 2 brick chimney stacks. 'U'-plan; 2 storeys, 4 bays. Below, hollow- chamfer mullioned
windows in chamfered recesses, with labels, internal vertical iron bars and iron-framed opening lights, of 4 lights
bays 1 and 2 and 5 lights bay 4; above are C20 timber casements: to bay 3 a 6-flush-panel door with C19 brick and
ashlar porch having thatched roof behind coped gable with obelisk finial and segmental-arched doorway with pair C20
glazed doors; set on the gable a fire insurance plaque featuring Britannia and worded "West of England/Exeter
(Company)'. C20 window in west gable, with clay tiled single-storey range extending from rear: east end has a 2-storey
extension northwards, with the roof ridge set slightly higher than main roof, with a C20 casement window and also signs
of 2 blocked openings and 2 stones from a pointed archway: the north gable of this extension is in Flemish bond
brickwork with ash1ar quoins. Interior not seen.
