Cottage in row, formerly 2 shops. C18 or earlier. Local lias stone cut and squared; clay pantile roof between coped
gables; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Small pane casement windows of earlier pattern, some with crown
glass, 2-light above and lower bay 2, all with timber lintols; to lower bay 1 projecting square bay of 4+24+4 panes, on
brick riser with hipped Welsh slate roof, continued over part glazed door to right; to bay 3 similar arragement but
with larger window of 3+9+9+9+3 panes, and wider 6-panel door to left. Interior not seen. A picturessque contribution
to street scene. Part of a good group of small cottages in a street first recorded in 1349.
