House and shop. Early C19 front, but C17 behind. Local lias stone cut and squared, rendered at one time, with painted
Ham stone dressings; double Roman clay tile roof behind parapet between coped gables; brick chimney stacks. Two
storeys, 3 bays. Plinth, traces of former pilasters, cornice string and plain parapet: modern shop windows with false
glazing bars set in plain openings with dovetailed stone lintols; above 12-pane sash windows: central 6-panel door in
bolection mould surround, recessed, framed by Doric pilasters and full entablature as hood; to right a 2-bay extension
with matching 12-pane sash windows above, under plain parapet, the upper storey roughcast and colourwashed; below flat
arched throughway with chamfered internal ceiling beams, flanked on east by rounded wall with small pane casement on
curve. Semicircular arched window in rear wall, then long range of buildings, (some undergoing conversion June 1984),
of which the second has 2-light chamfer mullioned windows. Interior not seen. Part of varied row with good streetscape
value.
