GV II
Vicarage, now house. Early C19 remodelling of earlier building with later
additions and alterations. Limewashed red brick; slate roof with red brick
stacks behind ridge to left and right. 2 storeys with dentilled eaves
cornice; 3-window front, glazing bar sashes, those to ground floor
tripartite with slightly cambered heads. Central entrance; pilastered
doorcase with plain entablature, 6-panel door and rectangular barred
overlight. Apparently contemporary service ranges to rear and set back
to right are said to be of late C17 or C18 origin but were much altered
in early C19 and are of uncertain date.
