Late C16 or early C17. Some later alterations. Former White Lion Public House.
Timber frame and painted brick; 2 storeys; 2 early C19 plain 3-light casement
windows; plain gable to left; ground storey has 2 early C19 casement windows
with arched lights and a moulded wood doorcase with early C17 carved surround
and canopy on brackets (not in situ), and ledged door; slates. The interior,
although partly altered, has exposed ceiling beams and much timber-framing
throughout, including some framed partitions with wattle-and-daub infilling.
