House, now house and shops. Early C19. Red brick with plain tile roof.
3 storeys. Dentil brick eaves cornice and parapeted gable ends with
moulded stone kneelers and stone copings. Central brick ridge stack
and integral brick end stacks. 4-bays; glazing bar sashes with stone
cills and painted gauged-brick heads. Ground-floor tripartite glazing
bar sash to right with flanking pilaster strips, frieze and dentil
cornice. 6-panelled door in second bay from right (lower 2 beaded flush)
with panelled reveals, wreathed radial fanlight and remains of doorcase
with moulded architrave, pilaster strips and fluted frieze (triangular
pediment missing of time of survey - April 1986). Mid-to late C19 shop
front to left consisting of large plate-glass windows (boarded at time
of survey) flanking recessed central half-glazed door and pilastered
surround with frieze and moulded cornice. Interior not inspected.
