Farmhouse. Circa 1700, refenestrated in the late C18. Some late C20
alterations. Rendered brick with hipped plain tile roof. L-plan.
Two storeys and attic over basement. Plinth, plat band and deep eaves.
Pair of brick stacks to return ridges. Three bays; glazing bar sashes
with chamfered C19 brick cills and segmental heads. Outer first-floor
windows painted in imitation of sashes. Segmental-headed 2-light
basement casements to left and right. Central half-glazed door with
pegged oak frame, 2-part rectangular overlight, segmental relieving arch,
and flat hood on 2 large shaped brackets. Right-hand return front of
one bay and left-hand return front of 2 bays. Interior not inspected
but c.1700 L-plan oak staircase noted: rising to attic, with half landings,
closed string, turned balusters, moulded handrail and panelled square
newel posts with moulded caps and plain pendants. Two-panelled c.1700
door to left-hand wall of staircase hall.
