Farmhouse, now inn. Probably early C19 with later additions and alterations.
Uncoursed sandstone rubble with alternating angle quoins; slate roofs, main
section with coped verges and carved stone kneelers. 2 storeys and attic;
horned glazing bar sashes with plain stone lintels to left and right of
roughly central entrance with eared architrave and half-glazed double doors.
2 gabled eaves dormers with C20 casements. Integral end stacks to left
and right and to right of contemporary parallel gabled range to rear have
red brick shafts. Slightly set-back lean-to to left is probably contemporary
or slightly later and has doorway with rectangular overlight and horned
glazing bar sash to front. C20 flat-roofed addition attached to rear range
is not of special architectural interest.
