Cottage, latterly divided, now returned to one dwelling. Probably mid-
C17 with eaves raised late C18 or early C19 and later additions and alterations.
Timber framed with painted brick infill; graded slate roof. 2-cell plan.
2 storeys. Framing: irregular square panels, 4 from cill to original
wall-plate; collar and tie beam end trusses have curved principals with
truncated apexes. Late C20 latticed casements, one to either side of
roughly central entrance, those to first floor directly below eaves.
C20 diagonally boarded door under C19 gabled hood. Rebuilt external end
stack to left. Interior. Timber framed cross wall (square panels) with
collar and tie beam truss immediately to left of entrance. Formerly known
as Court Cottages. Late C20 painted brick lean-to to right gable end
is not of special architectural interest.
