Early C18. Red brick; 3 storeys; 2 sash windows with flat brick arches
and large keyblocks; convex three-light bow window on left-hand side tiered
3 storeys; quoins; enriched rainwater head dated 1727. Interior: good
original staircase and fireplaces. The house was famous in the later
C18 as the home of John Wilkinson, the ironmaster, associate of Boulton
and Watt.
