House, now part of hotel. Dated 1699 on stone above central first floor window, mid C18 addition set back to left and mid C19 addition set back to right. Red brick with hipped C20 tile roof.
Three storeys. Plinth, rendered quoins and plat bands, moulded wooden eaves cornice, and paired end stacks. Five bays; glazing-bar sashes with flush boxes, orange brick dressings, gauged heads, and scrolled keystones with painted floral decoration. Four segmental curved steps with low stone flanking walls to central door with six raised and fielded panels, plain architrave, and radial fanlight; heavy semicircular hood with egg and dart moulded cornice, and large console brackets with carved acanthus decoration. First floor arched glazing-bar sashes to rear in second and third bays from right.
Mid C18 addition to left of red brick with hipped C20 tile roof. Two storeys; plat band and coved plaster cornice. One bay; ground floor sash without glazing bars, and first floor glazing-bar sash with flush box and keyed plaster lintel. Mid C19 addition to right of red brick with grey brick plinth and C20 tile roof. Two storeys. Moulded eaves cornice, gable to front at left, and end stack to left. Two bays, that to left slightly projecting; glazing-bar sashes with cambered recessed lintels, that on ground floor to left arched.
INTERIOR: some alterations to front rooms; 1699 three-flight square well staircase with square newels, turned balusters and moulded handrail; 1699 raised and fielded panelling in ground floor room to rear at right with dado rail, cornice, and panelled fireplace overmantel with pulvinated frieze and keyed arched niche to left; C19 panelling in front rooms and elsewhere; 1699 panelled window reveals throughout.
