Wall, with archway and gatepier. Wall is probably late C19-C20, altered, and is
built of coursed limestone rubble with flat stone coping. Formerly battlemented.
Set into wall is a very fine re-used early C13 arch of moulded stone, with
dogtooth ornament, label, and moulded capitals of missing shafts. Wall returns
along east side of stable yard and is ramped down to C19-C20 rubble stone
gatepier with pyramid cap and ball finial.
