Farmhouse. C17 L-plan building with mid C18 wing to south, and gabled extension
dated 1907 to north. Coursed limestone rubble, the south wing and south bays of
east side faced in roughcast. Stone slate roofs with chimneys rebuilt in dressed
stone C20. 2 storeys and attic. East front has C17 gabled wing projecting to
right, and 2 bays to left, the left C18, the centre C17 but remodelled C18-C19.
Gabled wing has C17 windows with hollow-chamfered stone mullions and Tudor
hoodmoulds, the lower windows of 3 liqhts, the attic with 2-light window.
Similar blocked single lights in left return. Another 4-light C17 window to
rear. Left bays have C19 wooden cross casements in beaded ashlar surrounds, the
centre bay with half-glazed door and rectangular fanlight in similar surround.
C20 porch with gabled stone slate roof on dressed stone piers. South wing has
hipped roof and 3-bay front with coved plaster eaves and C19 cross casements as
on east front. 1907 bay has wooden casements and small single-storey gabled
extensions in front angle with C17 wing.
