II

Two houses, probably formerly subdivided. C18. Limestone rubble with wooden
lintels; Stonesfield-slate roof with brick stacks. L-shaped range. One storey
plus attic. Front has 5 gabled dormers, 6 casements, and the entrances to both
houses, that to Talbot Cottage in line with a stack. Roof is hipped to right and
returns to rear wing of Ash House which has 3 further dormers. Stacks occur at
bay intervals. Interiors not inspected.
