Farmhouse now house. Probably C17, re-modelled mid C19. Coursed and random limestone rubble with marlstone ashlar dressings; Stonesfield slate roof with ashlar gable stacks.
Three unit through-passage plan; two storeys and two storeys plus attic. Three window coursed rubble front of higher section has a central four-panel door with rectangular overlight, a two-light casement above, and has three-light casements in the flanking bays, all with flat arches. Datestone is inscribed 1857. Roof has gable parapets with moulded projecting kneelers and double-shafted stacks with plinths and moulded caps. Lower random rubble bay to left has irregular fenestration. Rear has further casements: at ground floor with C17 stop-chamfered lintels; at first floor with leaded glazing and flat arches. Higher section has three gabled roof dormers.
Interior: stop-chamfered beams; back-to-back open fireplaces with bread oven.
