5/63 White House Farmhouse

II

Cottage, on O.S. Map as White House Farm but now with pink colourwash. Early
C17. Probably timber framed, brick skin. 2-cell plan, possibly a remnant
of 3-cell building. Facade of 2 bays, 2 storeys. 2 C20 casements to ground
floor with C20 porch between. 2 C20 casements to first floor. Axial stack
with 2 clustered octagonal shafts. Left hand gable wall buttressed with brick;
gable plastered. Right hand gable timber framed. Later outshut to rear.
