House. Circa 1600. Rendered and colourwashed brick with thatched roof. One
storey and dormer attic. Facade to north without doorway. 3 2-light timber
cross casements, that to left is a C20 copy of the others which are c.1600
with ovolo moulded mullions and jambs. Leaded glass. Gabled roof with 2
hipped dormers also with C20 ovolo moulded timber cross casements. Internal
gable end stacks. Rear with slated early C20 extension and C19 casements of
2 and 3.lights. 2 hipped dormers in roof. To west end there remains part
of a timber arched brace. Interior. Both principal ground floor rooms
display plain bridging beams and joists. Rebuilt fireplace in west room.
Roof structure altered : tie beams sawn off to increase space, roof above is
boarded.
