Farmhouse, 17th century and later. Timber frame encased in brick in 20th
century. Steeply pitched roof with pantiles replacing thatch. Two storeys
and attic with later two storey wing to west. 2 and 3 light casements 19th
and 20th century. Attic window with glazing bars in east gable. Large
axial stack slightly off-centre to east. 19th century wing to west with
shallow-pitched roof and tall off-centre ridge stack. 20th century red
brick gabled porch at junction of blocks on south side. Timber framed range
has winding stair beside stack and jowled principal posts with corner braces.
