2/25 Barn at Grove Farm

G.V. II

Barn. Mid C18. Brick with thatched roof. Brick plinth. East side supported
by 4 stepped buttresses. Central full height double doors. Gabled roof.
Gable ends each with 3 ventilation slits. On west side opposing double doors.
Roof of tie beams, once on arched braces. Some straight braces and knuckle
braces substituted. 2 tiers taper-tenoned butt purlins and cambered collars.
Straight windbracing over entrances.
