Entrance gateway, c.1843-5, probably by Sir Charles Barry, Limestone ashlar
piers with bracketed coping flank central wrought-iron carriage gates and
rusticated semi-circular arched pedestrian entries with wrought-iron gates. To
each side of entry are iron railings on low wall ramped up to tall ashlar wall
which curves round to moulded end piers. Forms south entrance to Eynsham Hall
(q.v.). Included for group value.
