Two houses. Wayside Cottage: C17. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled thatch roofs;
ridge stack of stone finished in brick. 2- extended to 3-unit plan. One storey
and attic; 3-window range Timber lintels over C19 plank door and late C19
two-light casements with glazing bars except C20 light to left; similar late C19
dormer casements. Upper Wayside Cottage: late C18. Coursed limestone rubble;
gabled stone slate roof; brick end stack. One-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic;
one-window range. Timber lintels over C20 door and windows; gabled dormer.
Interiors not inspected but likely to be of interest.
