Two houses. No.20: late C17, same date as No.22 (q.v.); altered and eaves raised
in C19. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled artificial stone slate roof; brick end
stacks. 2-unit plan. storeys; 2-window range. Timber lintels over C19
four-panelled door and flanking 2- and 3-light casements; timber lintel over
firelight to left; timber lintels over late C19 first-floor casements. Stone
chamfered stair-light to rear left. Interior: chamfered and boxed beams, and
winder stairs. No. 18: mid C18, of coursed limestone rubble with gabled concrete
tile roof, and brick end stack. One-unit plan. 2 storeys; one-window range.
Timber lintels over C20 door and C19 two- and 3-light casements. Interior noted
-as having chamfered beam. Included for group value.
