House. C16, extended mid C18. Colourwashed limestone rubble, uncoursed to left
and coursed to right. Gabled thatch roof, with stone slates to right bay; stone
ridge stack and brick rear lateral stack. 3-unit through-passage plan. 2
storeys. 3-window range. Timber lintel over C20 plank door. Mid C18 segmental
brick arches over C20 two-light casements; window to right inserted in blocked
segmental-arched mid C18 carriage entry. Timber lintels over 2-light first-floor
casements. C20 extension to rear. Interior: chamfered beams on ground flour, and
chamfered joists to right. Open fireplace with chamfered bressumer to right of
passage: chamfered bressumer over fireplace to rear left, adjoining old winder
stairs. Old winder stairs to rear of centre, Parts of possible cruck truss
visible over central stack.
