House. Late C16. Uncoursed sarsen and chalk rubble, chalk quoins; chalk stack;
thatched roof. 2-unit plan. 1 1/2-storey, 2-window range. Late C20 porch
adjoining projecting stack; timber lintel over C20 door in original position;
timber lintels over C20 casements. Large projecting lateral stack, half hippped
roof. Interior: Buttery area to left with plain chamfered bean; this room
separated from parlour by timber framed partition; parlour has ovolo moulded
beam with elaborate stop, and an open fire place; late C20 stairs in original
position; common rafter roof with wattle and daub infill and butt purlins.
3-bay C20 extension to right side.
