Barn and loosebox. C18. Weatherboarded over light timber frame and brick
plinth; thatched roof. 3 bays, aisled to rear with loosebox and hayloft at left
end. One storey, loft to left. Road front has late C20 double doors to
threshing floor in central bay, and C20 lights to top right. Hipped roof.
Interior: stepped and curved jowls to posts which are arch-braced to tie-beam
and wall-plate; queen post truss, clasped purlins, new rafters to front.
Loosebox to left within 3 weatherboarded walls has C18 plank doors with strap
hinges: two C18 shutters with strap hinges between barn and looseboxes;
original ceiling joists in loosebox. Included for group value.
