Entrance gates and walls. Late C18/early C19. Cast-iron gates with
limestone-ashlar piers and walls. Entrance gates, heavily ornamented with
quatrefoils, rosettes and spear heads, are in three sections between octagonal
piers with moulded caps. Flanking walls extend sideways to further piers and
then forward in convex curves to outer piers by the roadside. Formerly the
principal entrance to Nuneham Park.
(Nuneham Park is included in the HBMC County Register of Gardens at Grade 1).
