GV II

House. Late C17, early C18 , re-modelled c.1800. Limestone rubble with
timber lintels and some brick dressings; shallow-pitched welsh-slate roof
with brick stacks. 5-unit plan. 2 storeys. Irregular front with break and
slightly higher roof to 3 right bays which have central 6-panelled door
flanked by inserted sashes with glazing-bars; 2 sashes over. Mostly
9-pane sashes. Range to left has one small window to each floor and a
lateral stack. Interior: Chamfered and stopped beams to main range and to
extreme left, and timber-framed cross-partition. Possibly originally dwellings
of one and 3 units, linked when roofs were raised.
