Inn, now house. Early/mid C18. Limestone rubble with ashlar dressings;
stone-slate roof with brick stacks. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attics.
Symmetrical 5-window front has a 4-panel door below a single-light window
flanked by tall 2-light casements at ground and first floors. Outer bays break
forward and have similar windows. All windows have stone flat arches and C20
casements. Roof has a central gabled roof dormer and a further dormer to extreme
left bay. Stacks flank central section. Single-storey unit to left. Right gable
wall has round-headed windows, with plain stone architraves and keyblocks at
first and second floors, above a pair of blocked openings. Left gable of
single-storey wing has datestone inscribed 1797. Rear has 2 small outshuts.
