Gatepier and attached wall. C18. Limestone ashlar and coursed rubble. Square
pier has a Corinthian architrave and frieze, capped with the base of the finial.
Adjoining wall has a moulded and carved coping which sweeps downwards before
rising to the pier terminating in an acanthus console against the entablature of
the pier. The original cap of the gatepier, with modillion cornice, survives in
the farmyard. Matching gatepier and wall to west (q.v.).
