Hotel and offices. C18 with C19 alterations and additions. Brick, stucco
fronted. Welsh slate roofs, brick end stacks. 2 builds with carriage entrance
between. Properties extend to rear. Left part: 2 storeys; 2-window range. 2
sashes to ground floor have 4 large panes. First floor has 2 sashes with glazing
bars of 3-pane width. Right end wall of brick with timber framing. Carriageway
entrance has cross window above with margin lights and cornice on consoles.
Right part: 3 storeys; 2-window range. Stuccoed, lined, ground floor has 2
semi-circular headed sashes. 2 sashes to first and second floors have moulded
stone surrounds and glazing bars of 3-pane width. First floor sashes have
cornices on consoles. Cornice at first and second floors. Wide eaves soffit.
Rusticated quoins to right. Side entrances. Entrance to hotel has panelled
reveals, door with margin lights and an overlight. C18 stair in left part. C19
stair in right part. 2 cast-iron external spiral stairs to first floors of rear
ranges.
