9/259 The Gate House and No.75

2 houses. Early C18. Limestone rubble with wooden lintels; concrete plain-tile
roof with rebuilt brick stacks. 2- and 3-unit plans, possibly formerly linked. 3
bays to left of 5-window front (The Gate House) have leaded 3-light C18
casements, plus the entrance set to left of bay 3; No.75 has 3-light C19
casements flanking a 2-panel door. Both entrances have tiled canopies.
Steep-pitched roof is hipped to left, continuing as an end outshut over bay one.
Interiors not inspected.
