Manor house, now shop. Early and mid C18 and altered C19. Brick
with gabled plain tile roof. Plinth, partial first floor band,
eaves band and parapet. Single side wall and ridge stacks. 2
storeys plus attics, 4 bays. Double depth, L-plan. West front
has shallow corner pilasters and central pilaster up to first
floor. To left, a sash. To right, mid C19 triple sash with
rubbed brick head and moulded keystone. Above, central rendered
bowed panel on corbels, with pilastered surround. Half-round
hood on dentillated terracotta brackets. Flanked by single
margin light sashes. Above again, parapet has 3 rendered panels
with moulded frames. To left, 2 storey addition, mid C18, has
transomed casement with segmental head and above, C20 casement.
South end has, to left, triple sash with segmental head. To
right, pedimented timber doorcase with half glazed door. Above,
to right, and above again, small casement with segmental head.
Above again, to left, sash to garret. North gable has segmental
headed casement to garret. Interior has framed newel stair in
square well, with chamfered stick balusters and moulded handrail.
2 span beams, one with stops. Fireplace bressumer. Pair of C18
fitted cupboards. 7 two panel C18 doors. West front has,
above, 2 copper insurance plaques.
