2 cottages, former public house. Late C18 with later C19
extensions and alterations. Painted red brick. Pantile roofs,
the left single bay being hipped. Single red brick stacks to
left, to ridge and to right gable. The right gable is raised
with brick coping and kneeler. Dogtooth eaves. 2 storeys plus
garret, 4 bays, the left single bay being an early C19, slightly
higher addition. C18 wing with central red brick and pantile
gabled and closed C19 porch with 6 fielded panel door and
overlight. To the right is a late C19 red brick and slate
polygonal single storey projecting bay with central glazed double
door flanked by single casements. To the left is a single C19
sash with 2 similar sashes above and single central blocked
window opening. The C19 single bay to the left has a 2 storey
late C19 projecting polygonal bay. Each storey having a single
central sash flanked by single similar sashes. In the north wall
is a doorway with 6 fielded panel door. To the rear is a late
C19 2 storey wing and an outshut under catslide roof with single
round arched fixed light with glazing bars. The courtyard has
blue brick paving.
