Curtain wall with towers, and later farmbuildings. C14, farmbuildings early C19.
Rubble with dressings; stone slate roofs. Irregular pentagonal enclosure.
South curtain west of main block has chamfered C17 doorway and remains of 4 C14
windows each of 2 shoulder-arched lights. North end of west curtain canted
forward with blocked shoulder-arched postern. North-west curtain has segmental-
headed gateway and corbelled-out garderobes on either side of projecting
rectangular tower. D-shaped tower at north angle reduced to barrel-vaulted
lower stage, with pointed-arched doorway to bailey. North-east and east
curtains much reduced.

Farmbuilding adjacent to inner face of west curtain 2 storeys, 3 wide bays.
Boarded doors between bays, varied fenestration in old openings. North end
built against ruined C14 wall, with gap representing former gateway, which links
to north-west range of main buildings (q.v.). Former cartshed, adjacent to
north-east curtain 1 storey, 6 bays. Square stone piers with chamfered caps
carrying timber lintels; pent roof. Contemporary pent privy adjacent to west
end.
