This house is not of such great interest as the rest of Church Square,
but it probably dates from the early C19. Painted brick with unpainted
brick dressings. Tiled roof. The east front is gabled. The east and
south fronts have wide brick pilasters with a semi-circular recessed panel
surmounting the space between them, which on the south front contains a
large modern (formerly shop) window with small square panes and a semi-circular
window above it and on the east front a doorway with semi-circular fanlight
over it. Semi-circular window on second floor of this front in the gable.
Nos 48 to 64 (even) form a group.
