2 small timber-framed houses which were originally one. 2 storeys and
1 attic room. 4 windows in all. C15 roof. The western half of No 24
is a C16 addition with an overhanging upper storey resting on 3 curved
brackets. There is a passage beneath its western end on the ground floor.
The VCH say that these houses (old numbers 27 and 25 respectively) have
open timbered ceilings and C15 fireplaces.
Nos 20 to 46 (even) and No 33 form a group with Nos 27 to 30 (consec)
Watchbell Street.
