House row, shop pair. Early to mid C18. Timber-framed and tilehung with
prominent dentilled cornice to plain tiled roof with two segment-headed dormers
and stacks to rear. 3 storeys and attics; regular 3 window front, wood-
framed casements on second floor, glazing bar sashes on first floor. Double
shopfront to left with central glazed doors. Central alley entrance leading
to No 163A, High Street, (q.v.), to the rear. Large late C19 shopfront to
right with half-glazed doors flanking, both with transom-lights.
