Circa 1845. Designed by Decimus Burton who lived here for many years. 3 storey
house in coursed ironstone. Basement. Slate roof, hipped with wide bracketed
eaves. Many stone chimney stacks with cornices and tall octagonal pots. All stone
quoins and string courses. Asymmetrical design. Garden elevation not very impressive.
Main elevation, facing drive, has as its centre piece a massive round-headed front
door with stone architraves set within a projecting bay. A gable end to the left
has ornamental bargeboards. All windows rectangular. Wrought iron railings to
basement area. Building now divided into flats.
