House. C17 or early C18 (reset datestone of 1701 with initials R & ME
possibly for Errington, above centre bay); altered and extended 1907. Ashlar
with Welsh slate roof. Tudor style. Original double-span building to left 2½
storeys, 3 bays. Openings mainly of 1907. Central canted 2-storey bay has
Tudor-arched doorway with hoodmould. 5-light mullioned window over. Flanking
4-light mullioned-and-tansomed windows on ground floor, 3-light above. 3 tall
original gabled dormers have diamond-paned casements with wedge lintels grooved
in imitation of voussoirs. Steeply-pitched gabled roof with C18 kneelers,
flat coping and corniced end stacks.

2-bay extension to right'of 1907 in similar style.

Rear span has C18 masonry, but detail of 1907 in Arts and Crafts style. Large
2-storey wood bow window and projecting wing on left with 3 attached Tuscan
columns supporting jettied first floor.

Good interior of 1907.
