Circa 1770. More probably connected with Fullers' Earth then tanning, although
built by William Bell, a prominent leather merchant in Hexham. 2 storeys,
5 or 6 bays, undergoing conversion. Rubble with quoins and wooden lintels.
Original pantiles to south-west. Much brick patching of rubble walls, and
tumbled brick in verges. 1 storey lean-to to north with Westmoreland slate
roof. I storey hipped extension to south-west.
