Boundary stone, probably C18. Tooled sandstone. Segmental-topped stone 0.60
metre high, with incised Roman letters P H (Pauperhaugh) on east and R
(Rothbury) on west.
The stone marked the north-west corner of an 0.111 acre detached portion of
Pauperhaugh township (lst edition 0.S. 6":1 mile map).
