6/35 Beehouse in Kitchen Garden to

Beehouse. c.1870. Limestone ashlar. 2 tiers of 6 round-headed alcoves for
bee-skeps, with keyblocks. Plinth, pilastered corners and narrow pilaster strips
between bays, plain frieze and moulded cornice. One of a pair in entrance arm of
Kitchen Garden (q.v.) symmetrically sited either side of path leading from main
entrance.
