GV II

Cottage, formerly stable and coach house. Dated 1726, altered C20. Coursed
squared limestone with some ironstone dressings, inter-locking tile roof, stone
ridge stack. 3 unit plan. 1 storey and attic 6-bay range. Tudor-arched moulded
stone doorway to left of centre with rectangular wave-moulded surround and hood
mould. Datestone above inscribed TE7/1726 with heraldic lion above. Former coach
house doorway to left, now glazed and chamfered doorway to far right with
round-arched head. 2 and 3-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion windows. Central
gabled dormer with similar 2-light window and ventilation slit above.
Stone-coped gables with kneelers. Included for group value.
