House, formerly farmhouse. Mid/late C17, altered late C19 and C20. Coursed
squared ironstone, C20 plain-tile roofs, brick ridge and end stacks, that to
ridge on stone base. L-plan. storeys and attic. Main range facing garden has
central leaded 4-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window with hood mould and
3-light casement window to 1st floor with wood lintel. 2-light chamfered stone
mullion cellar window and small blocked 1-light window with chamfered stone
surround to 1st floor left just above floor level. 3-light ovolo-moulded stone
mullion window to ground floor of gable end. Wing facing road and to rear left
of main range has C20 6-panel front door with wood lintel and C20 casement
windows. Interior has bar-stop-chamfered spine beam, old stud partition and open
fireplace with chamfered bressumer to salt cupboard. Timber spiral staircase.
