House. Dated 1805; C20 renovation and alterations. Coursed ironstone and
limestone rubble, C20 plain-tile roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit central
staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Glazed central C20 door
with ogee-stop-chamfered wood lintel. Datestone above inscribed 1805. 2-light
C20 casement windows to ground and first floors with chamfered brick jambs;
chamfered brick lintels to ground floor, wood lintels to first floor. Moulded
brick eaves and two C20 roof dormers. Slightly lower 2-storey, 2-window, range
with C20 fenestration, probably former outbuilding, now part of living
accommodation. Interior has boxed spine beams and two fitted cupboards, one with
H hinges, the other with round-arched head and shaped shelves. Old panelled
doors and early C19 cast-iron grate in upper room.
