House. Late C17. Regular coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally 2-unit
plan. Single storey with attic. 2-window range of C20 leaded casements under
wood lintels. Similar leaded casements with diamond panes under eyebrow dormers
to attic. Central C20 door under thatch hood. Brick and stone stacks at ends.
C20 single-storey extension to left also has thatch roof. Rear is similar with
arch-head leaded casements. Interior has chamfered ceiling beams and room to
right of entrance has open fireplace with bressumer. Owner has receipt for
hearth rent dated 1680.
