Hatchment - Thomas Tryon d1825 who married Harriet daughter of Rev. William Brereton, Azure a fess embattled between 3 estoiles or (for Tryon) and Argent two bars sable (for Brereton). The Tryon Arms have six estoiles, but this funeral hatchment uses only three, presumably to display them to better effect. (Photo Aug 2008).
